From the outside, it looks like a large glass "doughnut" with a round and oval shape of 135,700 square meters.

The newly opened terminal is a multifunctional complex designed to connect 3 of the 4 terminals of Changi Airport. The airport terminal was designed by the famous architect Moshe Safdi, the cost of construction is more than 1.7 billion dollars. The building consists of 10 floors - 5 underground and 5 above ground. One of the main features of the airport is HSBC's 40-meter waterfall, which flows through a large opening in the center of the building and is the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. The flow of water is so strong that passengers can hear the sound of the waterfall when they leave the Duty Free zone without even seeing it from a distance. Another amazing feature of the terminal is the Skytrain that runs between the 3 terminals. The train tracks cross a bridge built within the entire Jewel Changi gallery, which is 3 stories high. So the trains go off a cliff, pass a waterfall, and "disappear" at another rock.

Along with the waterfall, Jewel Changi Airport also has the largest food chain with 280 cafes, bars and restaurants. In the center of the building there is a multi-level garden with trees and greenery. There are 11 IMAX cinemas operating here so that the guests are not bored during the long wait. According to the project, while the building is considered a terminal, it actually functions as a gallery between the terminals, as there are no exits for boarding or disembarking passengers.
